Reviews and Ratings
The hotel isn’t really what you’d expect when booking in a luxury hotel. Had a party with loud music till 5 am and then continued to make a lot of noise till 7 am, meaning no sleep was had, and no one from the hotel asked them to turn down music or stop. However, there were lovely, deep, comfortable chairs by the window to drink in the view, and fresh milk in the fridge for making a nice cuppa. The view was excellent with a great view.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were not as spacious as expected for the price, with a disappointing view and noise from outside. However, they were spotless and offered stunning sea views at sunset. The location was convenient with easy beach access, but noise from outside and smoking near the entrance were drawbacks.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit tired with some marks on the walls and faded cushions, but they offered a lovely view of the sea from the Juliette balcony. Unfortunately, the lack of AC made it quite hot, and noise from outside, including smoking, was a disturbance.
The hotel is in a perfect location overlooking Summerleaze Beach, just a short walk from the village. The rooms are stylish, clean, and a bit small, but perfect for a solo traveler like me. The service from Jane at reception and the bar staff was great, welcoming, and not overbearing. The location is amazing, allowing easy access to the beach and village. The dining experience was stunning, especially at The Beach at Bude. The facilities were top-notch.
